Wedding review of the MTVs!

The MTVs booked their first wedding gig through Gigmasters. Gigmasters suggests it’s users to review that bands that they hired. Here is the review we received after playing their wedding.

“Hello The MTVs,

Courtney H has submitted the following review for Gig ID #2640341:

Client Review
What you see is 2 people playing but what you are hearing is a full band! We had approximately 130 people at our wedding, i believe i received at least 75 compliments on the band themselves. Their professionalism was beyond par, their wiliness to accommodate to a non-typical venue was amazing and their choice of music was perfect. We are still in awe at how amazing they were. BEST PART is they will learn a new song just for your special day and put the little spin on it that you were hoping for.

Client Ratings
Courtney gave you the following star ratings based on your service at their event (1=lowest, 5=highest):
Professionalism: 5
Quality of service: 5
Ability to handle special requests: 5
Willingness to recommend to a friend: 5
Overall satisfaction: 5″

The evolution of The MTVs & promo videos

The MTVs were created by long time friends and bandmates, David LeDuc & Theodore Anderson in 2012.  Since then, the MTVs have performed hundreds of shows including performances at the Minneapolis Polar Plunge, Tough Mudder, Somerset Amphitheater’s Border Battle Beer Festival, Sociable Cider Werks block party, St. Paul’s Highland Festival, and Robbinsdale’s Whiz Bang Days parade.

Ted stepped away from the project in early 2016 allowing David to perform solo or with a backing band. David has also released a solo album called, “A Floor of Clouds,” available on iTunes/Spotify.

The MTVs featuring: David LeDuc, Rod “Rocket” Tahija, Alan Church, James Mouritsen & Dave Mehling. September 2016.

The MTVs at Tough Mudder

The MTVs were invited to play at the Tough Mudder event in Somerset, Wisconsin on Saturday, July 20th.  It’s basically an extreme marathon where people who are in really good shape prove how much better they are than lazy musicians… everyone walking around was ripped like a Spartan. Special thanks to Scott Herold!
